“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” – Maya Angelou
Everyone has a story.
And therapy can be a space to understand, share, and begin authoring that story in ways that feel healing and empowering.
My therapeutic approach integrates an attachment-based and emotion-focused perspective within a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) framework.
This means we will explore how your past and present experiences and relationships shape your emotions and sense of self, while also building practical skills to understand and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
I am committed to creating a culturally responsive, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and inclusive space where clients from all backgrounds feel seen, supported, and valued.
For clients who may benefit from processing distressing or traumatic experiences, I also do EMDR when appropriate. Learn more about EMDR here.
